Dolce Vita
Overview
The photographic project "La Dolce Vita" was born from a collaboration with Beatrice Molducci, with the aim of capturing the essence of the iconic Italian lifestyle, reinterpreted through the creations of her latest collection. Inspired by the cinematic aesthetic of the 1960s and the vibrant, carefree atmosphere of that era, the shoot sought to evoke a sense of relaxed luxury, effortless elegance, and the joy of living.
The collection of designer Beatrice Molducci proved perfect for the theme of the Italian Dolce Vita, thanks in part to the creative research for the location.
The project aims to celebrate the beauty, sensuality, and art of living that are typical of Italy, communicating a message of optimism and refinement. The photographs were designed to be used in advertising campaigns, fashion editorials, and the digital promotion of Beatrice Molducci's brand, with the aim of positioning it as a point of reference for contemporary elegance rooted in Italian tradition.
Approach
The approach to the photoshoot was collaborative from the start, involving constant dialogue with the Designer to fully understand her vision and translate it into images. During pre-production, we defined a detailed mood board, selected the most suitable locations, chose models who best embodied the spirit of "La Dolce Vita," and planned every detail, from lighting to makeup and hair styling.
During the shoot, the goal was to create a relaxed and creative atmosphere where the models could feel comfortable and express their personalities. I tried to capture spontaneous and natural moments, alternating between more posed shots and more dynamic and improvised situations. Particular attention was paid to the light, utilizing both natural and artificial light to create the desired atmosphere and enhance the colors and fabrics of the garments. The shoot developed organically, with the possibility of adapting the initial plan based on environmental conditions and the inspirations of the moment, while always keeping a firm grasp on the overall vision of the project.
